According the Islamic order; consuming the meat of wild Boar is strictly prohibited and that helps the species to be well protected and causes rapid increase of the population.

 

Each year many farmers suffer a lot from wild boars causing damages on the crops of the fields. The state has agreed to protect both wildlife and farmers rights and therefore in the certain regions of the country wild boar hunting season is kept open frequently almost all year around as well as fox hunting in the same areas.

 

Hunting area is north of Ankara and around Antalya Kaş. Hunting dates are all year around. The tawny yellow central Anatolian plateau, cief by ravines and dominated by volcanic peaks, froms the cradles, of human civizilation. The homeland of many people and the historic battleground of East and West, where Hittis, Hitits, Phrygians, Galatians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans all fought for their sovereignty and established their rule. North of Ankara city is also very popular with thermal hot springs. Both the Thermal Baths with its hotels and thermal pools and ruins of old civizilation ate situated on the plateau.

 

Wild boar is native to Anatolianplateau and is challenge hunt. Though boars have poor eyesight, they posses keen senses of smelling and hearing. A muscular animal rely on their speed and at large at their native area is far more exciting and rewarding than anything you have experienced before. Wild boar hunts ate avaible by day or night, but a boar hunt by moonlight is an experience you will never forget.

 

Hunting area is at the East and North of Ankara. 6 nights accommodation in hunting lodge (at the hunting area) or at the hotels and 5 days hunt. Driven hunt by beaters and hounds, high seat in moonlight or stalking. High seat is recommended for big trophy hunters. Also it’s available to organise weekend hunting trips for 3 days. Best time for driven hunt is between 1st of October – 28th of February, for high seat between 1st of March-30th  of November. Minimum 10 hunters are required for driven hunt
